To add a link in your page or post:
- Type in your text.
- Highlight the text you want to use as your link.
- Click on the “Insert/edit link” (chain) icon in the toolbar (highlighted here in red):
- A popup box will appear:
- You can either:
- Search for an existing page on your website, or
- Add a link to any web address (always ensure you use http:// or https:// first).
- Press “Enter” on your keyboard, or click the blue button.
- You have now created a link!
- Remember to preview or publish the page and test your link works.
To edit an existing link:
- Click onto your link, then click on the “Edit” icon:
- Or an alternative method is to click onto your link, then click on the “Insert/edit link” (chain) icon in the toolbar (highlighted here in red):
To remove an existing link:
- Click onto your link, then click the “Remove link” icon:
- Or an alternative method is to click onto your link, then click on the “Remove link” icon in the toolbar (highlighted here in blue):
To open a link in a new browser window:
- Click onto your link, then click on the “Edit” icon:
- Next, click on the “Link options” icon.
- On the popup window, tick “Open link in a new tab”.
- Click “Update”.
Using an image as a link:
