You can change the associated date for an article, for example if you want to back-date an announcement, or schedule an article for future publication.
To edit the date of a blog/news post within WordPress, go into the editing screen and click the “Edit” link on the Publish box:
Note the month appears as a drop-down menu:
After you click Publish, the new date will display on your website against this post.
If you choose a date in the future, the post will be hidden and it’ll automatically publish shortly after your chosen day/time. Handy for holidays or embargoes!
