Planned maintenance (5th July 2021)

Primary Image is undertaking an important upgrade programme as part of our commitment to provide the best possible web hosting to our customers.

We are moving our customers’ websites onto more powerful, next-generation web servers, which will further increase the performance of our hosting.  These new web servers will continue to be housed in the same Hemel Hempstead data centre that we’ve been using for the past four and a half years, meaning we are continuing our successful partnership with our existing infrastructure provider.

For the vast majority of our customers, this upgrade will happen on Monday 5th July, from 22:00 to 23:30.

There may be a short disruption to the service whilst the new web servers are brought into operation, however our data centre partners have given us assurance that this will be kept as short as possible.

We will be sharing more details about this important upgrade on our blog in the near future.

Update:

This upgrade work is now complete. Any disruption to our client’s websites lasted approximately four minutes.
