To ensure our customers’ websites run on a reliable and secure platform, the technicians at our Hemel Hempstead data centre will be carrying out an essential upgrade this evening, 11th May 2022, from approximately 22:00.
There may be a short period, of approximately fifteen minutes, where websites may not be available whilst the upgrade is applied and the web servers are rebooted (including the Primary Image website). However, our technicians will do everything they can do minimise this period.
This upgrade is likely to affect customers on our “Personal” and “Small Business” plans, but the upgrade work will not affect the majority of our customers on our “Business” and “Enterprise” plans (as these websites are hosted on a separate cluster of web servers). We will be monitoring the situation closely to ensure everything goes smoothly.
We’re sorry for any customers affected by these planned works, but please be assured these upgrades are essential to the continued healthy operation of our web servers.
Update at 22:45: The maintenance work is now complete. Websites were offline for no more than two minutes during this maintenance window.
